I have been working on this for about two months now and I have run out of ideas. Here is a link to my website with pictures of the amp box in the car.

My question is what would be the best way to attach the box to the car. I am trying to stay away from dropping the gas tank and welding to the car, but if I have to then I can do that. Any ideas would be great at this point. Thanks.

i would make some mounts and put them on the strut towers and if needed i would also tack weld two on rear deak

yeah It looks like you could fab up some mounts pretty easy. using metal straps... like this

For the bottom I'd go with flat home depot L brackets used for shelves. Also utility brackets. If they can hold 50lbs on a self they can definetley hold the box (the load is different in your case it is a lateral support application). Use 2 (they are $2 a piece).

(1) Kenwood Excelon Head Unit KDC-X589 (24 bit Burr Brown DAC, 3 X 4 volt RCA).

(1) RF Punch 250A2 - running the components.

(1) Hifonics 6.5" Atlas Components (18db crossovers).
