on a jensen 300 watt w/ Mosfett amp. The thing turns on. protect lamp turns on, stays on about 7 seconds, blinks for a half second while the power lamp comes on, and rinse reuse.

trash the amp?

its a jensen and its giving you problems like that i would trash the amp and order a new amp for www.ikesound.com lots of cheep stuff ?? what are you running that amp to and at what ohm load ???

shhh. i was just trying to get the damn thing to turn on. nothing is on it yet.

friend of mine wanted me to look at it. he's sound stupid, and i'm close enough to count. lol.

jensen sucks monkey balls then enh?

ya jensen is junk if your friend needs an amp it will be cheeper to buy a new amp and he will get a beteer amp the web site i suggested has a lot of amps and when i say cheep im mean cheep but they have some good gear

sounds like a bad amp or bad ground

i think its bad amp i have had a lot of problems with jensen amps they would work fine untel someone trys to run them at 2 or 1 ohm's then they had problem after problem
