Okay i just finished my first install of 2-12" L7's, 1-SX1250.1, 1-SX700.4, and 3 pairs RS5 coax. They are in a 2000 tahoe old body with the 5.7L

Im curious if there is anyone out there who knows what frequency i should tune the amps to, or how i should go about tuning them.

thanks in advance, ill post some pics later today.

to each his/her own, im a KICKER fan.

I don't know how you're powering 3 pair of coaxials off a 4 channel amp, but basically the crossover settings should go about like this:  The sub amp should have the LP on, set at about 80 Hz.  And both ends of the 4 channel amp should be set with the HP at the same frequency...80 Hz.  Fine-adjust to your liking.  Each amplifier should be receiving a full-range signal;  however, the sub amp can receive a sub-out signal from the deck.  In that case you would still use the LP filter on the sub amp.

If your subs are in a vented box, use the subsonic filter as well at just below the Fb.

Also, if you need links or info on how to set up a CD with various frequencies for tuning, post up here and let us know.  I've got several prior posts (as well as others) giving info on how to set it up and use it.  Probably a good search through this forum's archives will reveal them.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

thanks for the help, im powering the far rear left and right speakers off the rear left and right channels, and the 2 left doors on the front left channel and the 2 right doors front right channel. The subs are in a sealed box with about 1.6 cu.ft per chamber.  I have 0awg power wire distributed to 4awg which leads about 6" and 28 "  to the 2 amps. I have pics here http://chevytruckworld.tenmagazines.com/mygallery.ten-id-4075-album-10784

Do yourself a favor and pick up another small two channel amp to power one set of those speakers.  You've got two pairs (in parallel?) on two channels, most likely just to get all your speakers powered with one amp.  Here's a good example of a bargain that will improve your system's sound quality.  And there won't be much, if any, more pull on the truck's electrical system by adding this, because you will then be powering the critical front pairs of speakers at their rated 4 ohm impedance instead of at 2 ohms...so the amp you're using will draw less power and run cooler and the sound quality at 4 ohms will be much, much better.  Um, maybe Kicker has a small two channel amp...but if not you could always HIDE the odd amp so it won't foul the Kicker theme!
