I got a set of Kicker Comp VR's a while back.  Today I finally got around to taking them out of the enclosure they were in and looked at the back to see the rms ratings.  Nothing.

It just says Comp VR.  It's an older style, i think two models ago.  It does say 4 ohm, but that's the extent of it.

They're 10" and I was hoping to know the ratings, and if by chance, they had dual voice coils (which I highly doubt)

Thanks!!

Check on the Kicker web site.  If they have dual voice coils they will have two sets of electrical connections.

Thanks DYohn.  From waht I garnered off the Kicker site, the VR is a bit better than regular comps, but those specs are for the recent kicker releases.  I've googled for older sub specs, but still can't find anything.  Oh well, I'll trial and error it i guess.

thanks again,

jme

The oldest CompVRs(the ones with red lettering, not the fancy splash design) had RMS power handling of 400 watts for the 12, and I'm not sure what for the 10. I think they are still the same though...the only big change since they were introduced was the DVC.
