Hey All,

I have seen great information here! I wondered if you could offer up suggestions on how to distribute my power most efficiently.

I will be using the following 2 amps:

RFosgate RF4.6x - 4 ch bridged to 2 x 120 RMS 4ohms (30 amp / 10ga wire (per manual))

RFosgate 1001bd - 1000w RMS 2ohms (100 amp / 4ga wire (per manual)).

Now, my questions...

1. What gauge wire and fuse rating should I run from the battery back into the truck?

2. Once in the truck what is the best way to split it up? I know the amps require 4 and 10 gauge, but that is a odd combo to deal with!

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Refer to the chart. 4 gauge will handle up to 150 amperes. Run 4 gauge from the battery with a 150 amp (or slightly less if you prefer) fuse at the battery. Use a distro block like this to accept the 4 gauge in and be able to send a 4 ga. and a 8 ga. out. The block has fusing for the outgoing wires. (I'd grab that special if I were you.) You will be trading up to 8 gauge for the smaller amp.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
