whats wrong with my amp?

ok today it was raining and i guess when i opened my window my amp got a little wet. well i was playing my music pretty low and my subs like freaked out and got really loud and like made some popping noise then like stopped and i pulled my remote wire out of my amp real quick. well like 30 minutes went by and i started my truck up and put the remote wire back in and my amp stayed in protection mode and wouldnt play. what my problem be just my amp or could this have blown my subs as well? and if the amp blew wouldnt it not even turn on? any help would be great thanks

Disconnect your subs and check for proper amount of ohms.  If this one or both is/are extremely low, this is the problem.  With the subs disconnected, does the amp stay in protect?  If yes, the amp is the problem.  You can also disconnect RCA's just to verify.My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

Wow.  I just skimmed right over that part.  Don't try and use any of that equipment until you're 100% sure everything's dry.  Then you can trouble shoot.  Moisture will sure reak havoc on electronics.  Hopefully no water got inside your amp, only the outside.  Once inside, even after drying out, the components will tend to corrode much easier. My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
