I currently have 2 Kicker Comp 12's in a 4 cu.ft. box. I want to put these in 2 boxes at 1.25 cu.ft. each. What should I expect sound wise if I do this?

Whether they are in 1 box or 2 boxes won't matter. The important thing is to have the correct airspace for the sub. And make sure it is sealed very good.
