i'm installing an omnifi dmp1 mp3 jukebox in my 2000 jetta gls using a usa-spec aux adapter for the cd changer interface in the trunk. the omnifi needs 12v constant, 12v switched, dimmer, and ground connections, and i can do without the dimmer but i was wondering if it's safe (and possible) to tap the wires going to the cd changer interface? i'd *really* like to be able to tap power in the trunk rather than at the head so i don't have to run more wires than necessary.
thanks in advance!
