hey i was wondering if anyone here could help me.
I have a 2000 VW Golf, the factory stereo has an option for a CD changer, but i was wondering if there was a way to connect an AUX cable to hook up an ipod, and if anyone knows how to do it? I have no idea how to get behind the stereo or anything, please get back to me. thank you

Check out pac-audio.com
You will need the factory radio key to pull the radio.

Well you can always go to best buy or c.c. and just ask them to pull it for you. You can go to the dealership and ask them or try a local shop.
Just leave the radio sticking part way out. If you disconnect certain radio's they will require restart codes, so when I do these installs I leave the radio plugged in. Make sure to put a towel between the radio and trim when you are working on it, don't scratch it.

That's up to you, I would take it to a shop before any of those chop shops. Just know that they are going to charge you, for labor and or the piece if you don't have it
