I like MB Quart but they are all good names. If I were you I would go to your local shops and listen to all the different models and get which ever ones sound the best to you. How much do you want to spend?

i was thinking in the range of 200-400 dollars maybe more if it permits. I just want something with really crisp highs and good mid bass. I dont want them crappin out like the blaupunkts are now, when i give them some juice.

go with the focal.. spend the extra $200.. you will be VERY pleased with them.. the k2's are about $600 and the utopia's are around $1000.. worth every penny..

In that price range I would get the Mb Quart Q series components http://www.mbquart.com/listings.asp?cat=Auto&strt=1&type=Separate+Components but as I said before listen to all your options and get what sounds best to you

I have the PSD-216 MB Quart 6.5" components and i just love the sound. They are the second to the top of the line, next to the q-series.  I looked into many different speakers and to me they were the ones that sounded the best.  i bought mine on ebay for 230 shipped, so they fall at the bottom of your price range.  These speakers are very good and can handle a good amount of power.  i wouldn't get the Q-Series unless you are planning on putting alot of power into them, otherwise they don't sound as good and is a waste of money, but if you are putting alot of power into them then i suggest the q-series very much.

Definitely give some different ones a listen, as mentioned above, then support the local dealer who gives you quality service (such as the ability to listen).
You mentioned the Blaus "crap out when I give them some juice" - what are you driving them with? You'll want to make sure you aren't clipping your amp (running out of the ability to MAKE power), since, as rharris19 touched on many of the speakers with good low end extension will need more power to reach a given volume than your Blaupunkts do. Power is a good thing- like money and beer the more the better! *L*
Myself, I like the Dynaudios.

I am using a sony explode 760 watt im only running them off the front channels one on each of the 2 channels with the gain about half way up. They get loud fast but the clarity fades with the volume which i dont like.  I am completely redoing the system so I will get a new amp, what do yall suggest that. I am pretty sure I will get  the mb's my friend has some of the q series and i like the way those sound. So with that in mind what kinda of amp would  go good with those?
