Pioneer Premier TS-SW124D

I am thinking about buying this sub for my 02 Z06 corvette for the center storage compartment in the back. The only draw back to this sub is the 4ohms. I'm not looking to spend a lot of money on this system either. I have been looking for a small amp that pushes around 400rmps@4ohm. I can get pretty much any of those for around $200 and the sub for about $100. Is there any other amps that are better and which is the best out of those? Or should I choose a 2ohm sub?

I like the two in the middle of your list, Pioneer doesn't thrill me with their amps and that MA stuf is coming close to flea market gear.

I don't think there is anything wrong with running a sub setup a 4 ohms, especially a non digital amp. I am not sure where you got this notion of anti 4 ohm and only 2 ohm stuff.

If you find a sub that is 4 ohms and an amp that produces sufficient power at 4 ohms, you should be golden. Running amps at greater resistances only makes them work harder, hotter, shortens the life span, and can introduce more THD, even if they are rated at 2 ohms or below.
