I am looking into a 2way componet set. Which ones do you recommend? MB Quart, Focal, CDT, Rainbow, DLS, etc.

These are terribly hard questions to answer.
You must listen to them first to make a desicion. Not to mention you haven't mentioned any specific models.
I can tell you I don't like metal dome tweeters (Quart and some of the rainbows)

I agree with the listen to them part, i personally would go with the Quarts but thats my ear :)
