93 suburban 4x10 rear speakers

i want to install new rear speakers but the connections on the factory speakers only say A and B. How can i tell which is positive and which is negative. Can anyone help, please??

Your rear wire colors should  be RR+ dk blue, RR- lt blue, LR+ brown and LR- yellow. If not a neat trick to determine polarity is to get a 9 volt battery and touch the posts of the battery to the speaker terminals. If the pos batt lead touches the pos speaker lead the cone will "bump" out. If it touches the neg speaker lead the cone will "bump" inward.

gm = lights in front and darks in back
Where theres is a wire there's a way.
