Does anyone know of a usb adapter that would plug into something like the cd changer of a vehicle?  Even if there were a module in between it (since no factory stereos would support straight USB without some kind of "interpreter")

I'm not really interested in the fm modulator types.  Looking for a line-in solution.

Thanks

What exactly are you trying to connect the changer to?

What vehicle?  PIE and others make some outstanding adapters, although I'm not sure if anyone makes a direct USB adapter yet.  You'll probably have to use some intermediary connections.

It is for a 2004 RX8 install.  I was primarily intending it for an IPOD.   I know PIE and the icelink has the adapter for an IPOD, but I've heard some bad stories about it needing to constantly be reset.  But I was thinking if the USB was capable of handling a USB storage card for mp3's, it makes it a nice alternative.

And of course, the multitude of USB stuff out there makes it a very flexible option
