I have a 1999 Toyota Camry with the cd player and tweeters in the doors. The display on the HU works, but no sound at all.. I assume it has a seperate amp somewhere in the car. Can any one tell me the location. Also is this a common problem?? How about replacement parts, or is it cheaper with an aftermarket HU??? Thanks for your time

did u hook up the blue remote turn on wire in the aftermarket harness?  if it had a amp...it is eaither under the factory radio or behind the glove box or in the dash which u cant get too unless u take dash apart :-(.....if it had amp then u would have a strange harness into the factory radio that is not the standard aftermarket toy. harness......is there 2 plugs or one plug?  also did u check the radio it could be a problem with it.......u must be clear on the install and what u are working with and we can be more of a help
Where theres is a wire there's a way.
