hey you guys my local car audio shop is making my box for 4 15's ported. i have a dodge dakota extended cab and there gonna wall it off. there just gonna go as big as possible. they said it would be another 200 dollars to make the sides and the top completely flush so i told him i would do that. My question is should i just measure out the extra peices i need and liquid nail and screw them on the existing box and then carpet the whole thing? ive never done this before so any tips would be great thanks.

Your local car audio shop is making this box for you.  What did they say to this question?
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

dont try to carpet this beast inside the truck. go ahead and carpet the box and then do the trim panels. if you use a fluffy automotive carpet then you will never see the seam. dont put the subs in and just go from inside the box to screw the trim panels on. put the subs in last. good luck
