I have a 99 grand am with an indash cd player with the seperate tape player below the head unit. They are connected with the 9-pin adapter and I need to find the wiring diagram for this. I want to splice into this and use it for an aux input. I figure if I just leave a tape in the tape player and splice into the analog input wires it will work just fine with rca inputs. Thanks.

I cant seem to find the Metra GM9-Aux, all I can find is the PIE GM9-Aux or PAC AII GM9-Aux. I bought the GM9-Aux before and it did not work, all I need is a pin out for this adapter so I can tap into the right wire.

You may need to get the GM wiring diagrams for this vehicle.  Contact a local dealer or order one from General Motors.
