i know everyone gets tired of this but im looking for good recommendations on a pair of subs really no budget because if i cant afford them now but i like them i can hold of and get them next week next month or later sometime.... but right now im at about 500 or so :/ of a budget and was thinkign of going with kicker L7's 12's   but i also want some soundquality so a little of both spl and also good enough for sound quality ....   I got a Memphis
Model: 16-MCD1000 to push the subs ... and was also considering the memphis m3's not the mojo...   well im looking to buy prolly monday or so..

You want SQ that will still be plenty loud, eh?  For your $500 budget, listen to Eclipse Aluminum, Infinity Kappa Perfect, JBL, Image Dynamics, Adire Brahama, JL Audio, Diamond, Alpine, or yes, Memphis.  There are plenty of others that sound far beter than Kicker Solobarics.  If you just want to build a really loud box, Kicker can work fine.

First off you won't know this until you decide which subs and what impedence choices they offer.  But WHY 1-ohm???  If you want SQ don't do this to your amp.  2-ohm minimum, 4-ohms is better.
