Can anyone tell me how to disassemble the dash to remove the radio.   I haven't worked on one in a while, and I have forgotten how to do it.

It's all held in by clips. Removing the front dash panel that extends to the left of the steering column to the center dash area. Remove by pulling towards you and all the clips will come with the panel.

Thank you, I couldn't remember if the upper and lower dash pieces had to come off before the center piece.

hey rich.. hmm i have an 03 impala... well i believe the opening the dash has for the head unit is smaller (width) than what the width of the head unit is. atleast that is what my problem was.. and that i have a flip up.. so had to do some custom glass work..
