i don't even know why those things are for sale. same with the soundstream bass reconstructer . they say there to recreate bass lost in recording. i think they just make subs sound like s*** . i did a install tons of new soundstream gear . the guy had to has the SS bass reconstructer. i had to mess with that P.O.S . for like 2 hours to get the subs to hit right. and it still sounded a little off.

They are synthesizers designed to make cheap sub-par gear sound closer to good-quality gear.  Real popular with kids and beginners.  Always charge a premium to install one and void the subwoofer warranty!

  i did pretty good on that install $350 for my time. in all took me like 15 hours. including building the platform. for the amp powerplant cap etc.
