Hey I have a JL E6450 6 channel amp. I am using channels 1,2,3,4 to power my components and I was gonna bridge channel 5 and 6 to power the sub. Now the Sub is a DVC with each coil at 4 ohms. Can I wire the sub in Parallel to get 2 ohms to the sub without hurting the amp in the long run? I think if I wire it in Series and it goes to 8 ohm it won't have enough power. Anyone do this before? Or should I get a different sub?

Wouldn't recommend bridging as the last two channels are not stable at two ohms. Putting one channel to each coil is not so hot either as you only get 45 to 70 watts RMS depending on voltage. I would look into a very efficiant 4 ohm single coil sub or dual 2 ohm coil model.
There is no such thing as free installation!
