I have a 2005 Nissan Altima SE-R.  I recently installed a Eclipse AVN 5495, and i love it.  However, the controls for volume, mode select (stock head unit) and the trip pushbuttons have been disabled.  i know they interfaced with the stock head unit, because i have two plugs that are not connected.  my basic question is that is there a way to "jumper" the trip function, that is they only one i really want back, it's a hassle to get to the regular trip behind the steering wheel while driving.  another question, does anyone know if any websites sell "interface modules" that i can hook up to connect my head unit with the steering wheel controls in order to use them.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks, Joel.

Consider the trip feature gone, but I think you'll get used to not having it.  As for the audio features, the steering wheel interfaces run about $70.  Stop in at your local audio shop to have a look.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
