I just installed a Kenwood Excelon KAC-X541, Kenwood Excelon KAC-X811D, Alpine SPS-170A, and Alpine SPS-690A. The 6x9 have shut off completely twice since i installed it yesterday. When I reset the amp they come back on no worries. Both Times they have shut off I noticed that I was a lower rpms(Under 1500). When the bass hits my lights dim. My alternator puts out 105 amps full and Probably 60 at idle. I am getting a new alternator installed next Tuesday. It has 220 amp full and 120 at idle. Does this sound like a power availability problem that the new alt will fix or do I have another issue?
Best Regards---Ed
