So, I just received a new price list, I'm going through it and it highlights the new models.....read along the description and it says ESN + detach face......thoughts on this guys?

http://www.eclipse-web.com/avx/index.html

MSRP here in the Great White North is $2999.00 for the AVN7000 model and TBA for the AVN5000.

I've never been big on Eclipse, but that looks nice.  Where does it say detachable face?  10-band Eq- wow?  Any idea about MSRP?

My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

It mentions it in my pricelist, not on the site from what I have seen.

From what I understand, Eclipse does not have detachable faces since it uses ESN Protection.

Read at the bottom of the feature list and notice how it says twin security system..... This is particular to only the 2 new models, not the balance of the line but it would not surprise me in the least to see new models in the Spring that have a twin security system.

Hey Rob, don't forget Eclipse is now in Circuit City right next to the JVC and Aiwa, so they've gotta compete for business with the "ooh, ahh, look it's a detachable face" crowd.

Key CD and perhaps memory stick? The 5445 uses the memory stick as security doesn't it? Couldn't this be the "Twin"? I don't know, just tossin' that out there...
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

I gotta say that even though I never take my faceplate off anyways, it would be a nice thing just so I dont have to deal with customers comming back complaining they cant take their face plate off, and that the sales weasel that sold it to them never told them it wasnt detachable.
