If I run a 4 channel amp for my highs do I need to run speaker wire all the way to the speakers in the front door and the rear or should I go behind the deck and tap into the speakers from there, leaving me with some factory speaker wire leading to the speakers. Suggestions?

Either way, there will not be an audible difference using the factory wires.

Sorry apperently I am not allowed to delete 4 channel amp installation -- posted image. But here is a good sight for speaker wire on what size for how many feet at what ohms. And the differences between coper, silver ect. The guy is the Director of Acoustic Research
