so heres the story. i have a 98 mitsubishi eclipse with the stock infinity system in it. i was driving around the other night and i noticed my speakers were buzzing in relation to the REV's of my engine. whenever is hit the throttle it would buzz louder. then i noticed the next day that the speakers were'nt working at all...the cd player and radio and everything turn on and seem to be running fine, but there is absolutely no sound, not even a crackle or anything. whats up??

sounds like the stock amp said good bye. or somthing came loose. power/ground check all the connections.

this is all factory? bad ground to the amp or power to the amp the buzzing you herd was a breakdown in a connection most likly ground and it probably just quit and now the amp is not turning on so no sound. unless the internal power curcuit of the amp did the same thing and its the amp it self.

locate the amp and get some reading of voltage from a multimeter and see if power and ground is going to the amp . also check the remote turn on for voltage. if you dont see a problem with voltage its most likly the amp.

could be the input from the hu but i dought it becuase if it was the amplifier it would reproduce something ,some kind of noise. even if it was very faint.

JUST ONE MORE AMP!!!
