I would like to spend around 150. I would prefer a remote because I think when I get rid of the factory I lose my wheel controls, I think. I will be putting this in a 03 Dodge Ram and am running 1 sub off a amp. I am still using factory speakers.

You can find a kenwood or Pioneer radio in that range.  If you want to retain your steering wheel buttons you can do it with pac's swi-x module.

I have a pioneer DEH-4700MP.  It has the front and rear sub-outs and plays mp3s.  I paid right at $150 for it.  I am very happy with the performance, features, and reliability.

I'm pretty satisfied with the Kenwood Excellon I have. Model X569. I bought it for $160 'like new'/used on ebay. MP3 and Sirius capable, so you don't have to buy another screen down the road for sat. radio.

go with a kenwood or a pioneer, if you get a pioneer get the premier version of it, it is going to be a lot better but kenwood makes some great stuff exspecially their exellon line.

What is your basis for saying Premier is much better than the regular pioneer brands. At almost all levels the only difference is a 2 year warrenty and gold plated preouts. If the person in question buys online he will likely forfit the warrenty and with the level of system he is describing I would dare someone to prove to me that he is in need of gold plated preouts. If you buy premier at the 150 range, all you are probally gonna do is pay for that little gold name on the front

I say go with Kenwood.  You can get some very good HU's for the price.
That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.
