Hello, I just replaced my bose HU from my 99 max (JVC), however I would like to solve one issue that I search around for but cannot find. That is the issue of getting the antenna to stay down when CD is playing and up with radio. This is how it used to work with the bose system.

Thanks,

omsmax

haven't done one in a while check to see if the harness that connects into the maxima has two blue wires one for ant one for the amp. depending on how new your jvc is it should have a blue wire for ant and a blue and white wire for amp. hope this helps

well depending on the hu it will have a solid blue wire and a blue white wire and commonly the when they have both of these wires then the solid blue is power ant. that will cut-off power to ant. when cd is playing and the blue and white is remote turn-on for the amp. if the hu unit only has one blue wire then the hu unit does not have this option.
JUST ONE MORE AMP!!!
hu,alpine cva 1005/dva 5205
sound processor,symmetry(first one).
sub amp,power 1000 the terminator.(1992).
subs,spl comp dual 1 ohms.
punch 150hd on a 10" ev.
