Advice on Wiring amplifiers

To all installer guru’s out there…. I need your good wisdom in a recommended wiring for 2 sets of 40 watt (2 CH) amplifiers (one pioneer and one kicker).

Should I:1.Do the power connection directly to the battery. I would need to a capacitor to prevent my car low electrical current surges.2.Do I splice/connect the power line of the amp to the factory power line of the factory stereo. I believe this connection comes fromAlternator – which would help from sudden current surges.  Need advice,

The power wire needs to go direct to the battery with a fuse within 18". The fuse needs to be as large or larger than the combined value of the fuses in the two amplifiers. You do not need a capacitor. Your question #2 is best left alone. If you have run the power wire to the battery, it does not run to the headunit. What does run to the headunit is the blue remote on wire. It is hooked to the remote on wire of the aftermarket head unit or the ignition line of the factory headunit. Go to Wal-Mart and buy the Scosche multi amp wire kit, it is a quality inexpensive kit that will do the job for you.Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
