Installed new head unit, checked all fuses fuses good, no constant power to radio all other wires good. So I tap to a constant 12 unit powersup.  When playing radio plays fine when the volume is turned up louder unit will cut off at certain volume and come back on when lowered.  Any ideas

The ground would be the first thing to check.  Try regrounding the unit and see if that fixes it.  Otherwise, let us know so we can offer more help.

My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
