I bought a Toyota sprinter XE Vintage with radio removed.   I have put in a new radio  but have encountered one problem.  I have got the positive from the ignition the ground but cannot get the +ve from the battery. could it have been cut somewhere along the way say by romoval of fuse or relay.   I have noticed that when I open the door the light does not come on.  The light in the dashboard is also not showing to indicate an open door. If its the fuse or relay where can I locate it.

The owner's manual will many times give you the locations of the fuse boxes and the individual fuses as well.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

If all else fails, just run a new line (fused) directly to your battery.

I will check the fuses if all fails Jazzy's option of running a new line straight to the battery sounds attractive.
