I have a 92 runner an recently changed the factory radio, I used the wiring that I found in another post, but my rear speakers don't give any sound, any ideas what could be happening?1992 4-Runner rear speaker problem -- posted image.

Did your factory radio have an external amp? If it did the radio would have only one connector on the back from the amp and 2 connectors on the bottom of the amp. Most aftermarket wiring adaptors fit these 2 connectors. On the factory 10 way connector, pins 8 and 9 are for the power ant. and amp. Pin 8 BLACK/ red wire is for the ant. pin 9 pink/blue is for the amp. If your new radio has wires for a power ant (blue) usually and an external power source (blue/white). the blue/white need to go to the pink/blue on the factory harness. My adaptor harness had pins 8&9 with a loop between them. I cut the loop and put the blue/white to the amp wire, as I wanted my power ant to still function as normal and not stay up all the time. Hope this helps, I just went through this today with my 95 4 Runner. Email me if you have any questions.

Well I'm not sure if it has it, what I'm sure of is that I found all the wires listed in the post metioned above and did a 1 to 1 connection, everything works but the rear speakers.

My car doesn't has the power antena and I didn't get the wiring harnnes (had to cut all the wires on the factory connector)1992 4-Runner rear speaker problem -- posted image.

Pull the deck, and connect the blue/white on the stereo to the pink/blue as suggested above.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
