I wanted to get some other opinions on what I should do here. I have 2 pairs of 6x9's

Infinity Reference 3-ways

Kenwood 6969ie's

I would choose the Infinitys, but on one of the speakers there is a tear in the surround all the way down the surround and about an inch along the woofer (kind of like an L shape). So they would be loosing their bass response im guessing.

I have a sony amp that is 55wRMS x 4. What do you guys think would be my better choice for 6x9's. Im looking for bass mainly since I have Infinity 3-ways in the front of the car.

The tear is vertically down the surround, and then horizantally an inch where the surround joins the woofer.

If your looking for bass how about a sub woofer? use a single 4 ohm svc woofer and brigde 2 channels from your amp to play it. other wise go with the kenwoods cause you already have them.
