This problem has been mind boggling. I have a lightning audio amp getting signal from a stock head unit through high level inputs. When the high level inputs are connected no sound period but when i plug it out fromt he amp the sound works and then when i plug it back it the amp everything works the sub and all. But then when i turn the radio off for 2 minutes or so and turn the radio back on same problem.

there are a couple of simple soulutions you can do to fix this

1. get rid of that amp, lightning audio? cmon now

2.buy a aftermarket cd player with some rca pre-outs and run some rca's to that amp and not use the hi level inputs

or here i think is the best idea

3. go to best buy or cicuit city and get a hi lo lever converter, its a little box that you wire to your speakers and on the other side of it there are rca plugs so all it does it takes ur sound comming from your speakers and changes it so that they go into rca's and you plug it into your amp, you can get them at best buy for like 15 bux so its not exspencive at all.
