According to mobiletoys.com you've got 2.5 inches depth for the fronts, and 3 inches depth for the backs.  Remember, though, you do have some room behind the door panel for spacers if you run into a clearance issue.

I've only put a sub in one of these- a small prefab box with a 10 behind the back seat, with like a 150 watt Crossfire amp under a seat.  I was actually impressed with how good it sounded.  Of course you could always build one, too.

Other options are the JL stealthbox: http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_stealthbox_make.php?make_id=54&model_id=304

or the MTX ThunderForm: http://www.mtxaudio.com/caraudio/products/enclosures/thunderform.cfm.

My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

I have an 02 sport trac, I built two custom sealed boxes for my infinity 8" subs and put them under the rear seats. You can also find a pre-made box for a 10" sub on e-bay just do an e-bay search for sport-trac under car electronics and there should be some.
what?,I cant hear you

i also have a 02 sport trac and i bought one of the prefab under seat 10 box and it sounds great. And for the speaker question there is enough room to install just about any 5x7.
