Hello, I am looking for the Dimmer wire in the stock radio wiring harness there is no wire for that pin. I want the deck to dimm when I turn on the Lights and to dimm further when I dimm the instrument lights. The Head unit I am using is the Pioneer Premier DHP-860MP.

I have an audisson SRX-3 Amplifier and it is fairly large I was wondering what the optimum place to place this so that it is out of the way but can still breathe it is too large to place under the passenger seat. I am also using a G5-10 inch subwoofer I am going to make a custom Fiberglass enclosure sealed at <1 cubic foot. I was wondering what you guy's have done for a clean efficient install.

Also I was wondering how much 8awg wiring I need for the Amplifier.

Thank You

Jeffrey

Go to this link and look up the diagram on the right of the page. This will tell you what all the wires do.
As far as the amp goes, why not incorporate the amplifier into the sub enclsoure if your going to fiberglass this into the trunk ?
Also, depending on the rated power of the amplifier, you might want to go to a 4 gauge power and ground instead of the 8 guage. This is because you can upgrade your system with another amplifier and not have to worry about your power wire not being big enough. Larger is better in this case

Thank you but even in the link you send me k has no wire colour. and in mine it has indeed no wire. But there must be another location to get the source from to dimm the deck right?

As for the amp the reason I am going to 8awg wire is because the power inputs into the deck are indeed 8awg, any bigger and I risk damaging my amp due to a stray wire or the like touching the other side of the contact.

as for amp location I am sure that is what I will end up doing but I was simply currious if anyone had another location.

Thanks for your help I appreciate it.

Jeffrey
