Ok I had a 98 caddy deville. Hu=avic-n1 fronts= 5-1\4 kickers rs components. Rears kicker ks 6x9 3 ways. Subs 2 kicker l7s. Amps highs kx3504. mono sx1250. 1\0 wiring. Wiring is also kicker. I have a tsunami x151200 battery under da hood. And a no name 1 farad cap. Now I know I need a ho alternator but aside from dat how can I stop the light dimming. Really I need an idea for a quick fix what do u think I should do? I was thinking like getting a 10 farad cap to hold me over until I can afford alternator. Ideas plz.

Oh hell no the cap will make it worse, you can do a big three upgrade. Which is upping the gauge on your:
1)Battery Negative to Chassis
2)Alternator to Battery Positive
3)Engine to Chassis

There is no "quick fix". you need a ho alt. thats it. If you want to waste money on a 10 farad cap I'll sell you a real nice shinny one with flames and neons, and it will cost you about the same as a ho alt. get the new alt it's the heart and soul of you elc system. See "history of large caps" near the top of the topics in this forum.
