4 channel amp wiring?

I just have a simple question regarding wiring up a 4 chan. amp to in car speakers. If I were to use the high-out/in from the amp, do I run those speaker wires and all to the head unit, or do i run the speaker wires to the speakers themselves?? oh yeah, what about the other wires in that connection.

If you're trying to add an amp and keep the factory radio, the preferred method would be to use line out converters, and run rca cables from them to your amp.  If you're using a new deck, run rca's from it to the amp.  Of course you'll use the amp's high level outs- that's where the speakers get power.  As long as your car does not have a factory amp, you can run the outputs of your 4 channel to the speaker wires behind the radio.  You don't want to connect any wires to the radio's speaker outputs.My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
