First of all, never inherit a car dealers problem. With that said here's what I'm up against, I have a 2001 911 with a 2003 factory Harmon Karden system that has the lower console DSP. When the dealer bought the car wholesale the radio did not light up. He had it serviced by Porsche and when he got it back all functions worked but no sound. I got into it and found no bad speakers, signal coming from the deck and all fuses good. Changed out the factory amp and still no sound. The DSP buttons have no illumination. I'm thinking we have a non DSP radio in a DSP system. Anybody have any experience with this car? Any other ideas?

I have not seen this car (kinda rare that we see a porch (yes I spelled that right) here). To me it as well seems to be a signal related issue or the DSP module is not turning on to pass the signal.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

Yea, finally got hold of somebody at "Porch" and they confirmed noncompatability between the radio and the DSP. How can a dealer sell a $60,000 car knowing the radio won't work and then bring to me and act like he doesn't know what's going on? Oh THAT"S RIGHT he's a used car dealer, silly me! Well at least the dealer get's billed for 3 hours of my time and because I was the only person honest with the owner, he's going to buy an entire new system. Sheeeesh......
