93 Explorer CD player? -- posted image.I have a 93 Explorer and i installed a new CD player.  Now the speaker sound like they are shoring out.  They pop and make noise.  It seems to happen when the speaker wires behind the reciever are moved.  I checked all connections and they are good and are insulated.  It seems that it is picking up feedback from some where.  I was thinking maybe at the factory amp.  Does anyone know where it is located?  Can't i just unhook it and bypass it.  The new CD player has a big enough amp.  What else should i check?93 Explorer CD player? -- posted image.

Thanks

Factory amp is behind the plastic panel above the right rear wheel well. Look up the speaker wire colors at vehicle wiring on the left sidebar. You can access these wires in the right kick panel.
There is no such thing as free installation!
