amp for 2 12 Pioneer TS-W306DVC?

alrighty, this is what I have right now, I am looking for an amp to match my subs so I'm basically wondering which amp would be compatible for opitimum bass.  I got 2 12" Pioneer TS-W306DVC.  Dual Voice coil, 1000w max and 400w nom.  currently in a ported box with the port down the middle and and have the speakers wired at 2 ohms each.  If you have any suggestions please feel free to reply. 

that means the final impedance will be 1? which means you will need a one ohm stable amp. As pioneer not being a very expensive brand, I wouldnt go nuts buying a perfect amp. also, what is your price range? are you looking for anything imparticular? like a class D monoblock? or what, thanks.99 Blazer LT.   Yellow Top. dont really have a price range yet, as soon as i figure out how much rms or watts I need to get these speakers pushing,  I had a 5 year old 800 watt Logic amp which sounded good but I recently gave it to my brother in law to find a better amp.  I would love a mono amp but so far its out of my price range unless I find a real good brand decently priced.  My main concern right now is the power I need to push these 2 subs and make em sound good without the amp cutting off all the time.

you said you dont have a price range yet you then said that most of the d class mono blocks were outside your price range, which is it? As for amps, people on here rave about the hifonics stuff which is d class and affordable to many people. If you can track down a jbl bp600.1 or 1200.1 both were solid mono blocks that were one ohm stable. You can also look at some big 2 channel amps that are optimized for 4 ohm bridged and go that route. It will probally sound better but will also generally draw more current for the same amount of power. Its a give and take thing. Give us a realistic budget, even if its loose and then we can better suggest products. I had 4 of last years models of those subs and actually used them in SPL competition and did real well in the local circuts, I woulda got killed if I ever went to bigger centers but the subs are only like 100 bucks a piece so for the money they were real solid. They do like power though so I would definatly be looking at 300w rms per sub minimumdouble-secret reverse-osmosis speaker-cone-induced high-level interference distortion, Its a killer

ehh the jbl amps are pretty nice but honestly i owned one they really dont like 1 ohm to much....they say they are stable down to one but so do lanzars. i would say rewire your subs to a higher ohm load and get a jl 500/1. Turn down the amp a little bit because im sure they wont be able to handle all of it but it gives you power for now and expanability in the future if you plan on adding more subs. 2007 Acura TSX
