speaker and stereo interference

I just bought two 200 watt roadmaster speakers with 30 oz. magnets on the backs, the mounts for the speakers are within inches of my stereo, will the magnets from the speakers interefere or damage my stereo?

what if i dont plan on using the tape player? b/c it has a cd player input on it so i plan to use that, will it still be a problem?
