Just finished an install of an XM commander. Plugged it in, working fine, parked the car. Went out to demo and it wont power up. Pulled it back into the shop and checked all wiring, everything is fine. If I unplug the LCD display and plug it back in, it works fine until it loses Acc. Then will not power up again until I pull the LCD again. The relay in the RF antenna box just keeps clicking back and forth. I am almost certain that this is an internal problem. I searched the archives and have seen this problem and few times. Just wondering if anyone every found the solution.

sounds like a broken box to me but it is possible you got on a weird wire or that the display has a short in it and that is causing the box to go crazy. i personally haven't seen an problems with the commanders but sounds like you got a crazy box. grab another one and try changing the display and then changing the box and see which one is screwed. also, might want to check your inline fuses on that unit too. good luck.
