2003 tahoe w/bose aftermarket amp

I'm trying to install an aftermarket amp in an '03 tahoe with bose and i'm having issues with the wiring. I thought with it being the bose system i needed the PAC C2A-GM24 adapter since the listings for it highlighted the fact that it was for bose systems (although Data-II digital bus). I got no sound. I figure that didn't work since I probably need the regular AOEM adapter. but since i had it apart I figured i would use a high-to-low level converter instead and splice into the wiring directly after the head unit using the wiring diagram i found on this site. this produced the same result. i get nothing. are the wires coming out of the headunit already low level? is there something else i should be checking or a different way i should be hooking this up? i would just hate to buy the other PAC adapter (PAC AOEM-GM24) and still get nothing to find out i needed to do something else. thanks for any help i can get. i've been working on troubleshooting this for about 7 hrs straight.

I have a 2006 Yukon I am working on, I have the stock radio with the disk changer and with out navigation.  I do have the Bose system, I was able to add a hi/low converter to my system.  I tapped into it right underneath the cup holders in the center console.  That is is where the amp is and you have to tap into the right wires after the amp source.  I have heard that if you want to test the wires, you can tap a 9volt battery to the wires and the speaker should pop. Just to know for sure before your done that you have speaker wires.

Sounds like the same setup I have, I spliced into those same wires and hooked in my hi/low converter w/ solder.  I tapped in right under the cup holder's there is a lot more room to work with.  I used the amp for wiring in subs.  I think there might be more involved if you want to use it for high/low speakers...

Can you take out the cupholder portion of the console?

You are wiring in the same setup I have.  I am using an aftermarket amp to power to 12's.  Everything else is stock...

My interior lights dim a little when the gain is up and the bass hits.  I think my setup is pretty small, only 1 amp 200 watt rms with 2 fosgate p1 12's.   What did you go with for your subs and amp?
