alright guys, i got 1 10" 9500 in a 99 civic, 2 door.....my friend is selling two more for like 400 with no box, and i got the phat hook-up on amps....should i add the two, or just stay with the one.......

i went to a local audio shop, and they said.....that 3 subs is going to be the same loudness as 2?  cuz you need double power, x-max or what ever to hear a significant difference....does that make any sense to you?

Are they DVC or SVC ? If they are DVC you can wire the 3 in a 2.67 ohm load but you will need more power to run them. If you do 2 DVC subs you can wire them to 2 ohms and they would get more power this way to produce more SPL.

wait, if they're the mtx thunder 9500 series then the 10's are 750wrms each. but if they're Digital Design Audio 9500, then the 10's are 1200 wrms each

If you want SPL do a ported box but it will require more space.

i'd be guessing to say they are the MTX's
i would honestly stay with just 1 3 9500's in a civic? -- posted image.
because you will add so much MDF/Fiberglass box building materials in making room for the other 2,
or if you know some "less intelligent" people.. buy both add 1 of them and then sell the other one for like 250ish
just my .02
Cheers,
~James
