hey im thinkin of putting the eclipse avn 5435 in my 01 silverado. I saw a couple of posts about people who have done it with filing the dash and filling the gaps. I was wondering what you would recommend to fill the gaps with and if there is any extra advice u could give to me before i get the file out. thanks

The last one I did I ended up making a trim piece /filler with 1/8" abs looked factory when I was done. I have not put a double din in a silvy yet, but I have 1 recomendation when installing these take your time and you'll be happy with the results. I had to re-do a double din install that was rushed early this winter it ended up costing the client a new dash piece $$$ they were a little aggressive with the dremel.

thanks man did u mount the trim piece to the H/U or did u glue it to the dash?

I mounted the it to the dash.
