Does anyone own this cd player or know if the eclipse cd 8445 has a detachable face? The place I am buying it from says yes but I could not find this information on eclipse's website, it says only MS/CD ESN security. Anyone? Thanks.

This deck does not have a detachable face. Elcipse decks in general do not come with detachable face plates

Thanks that is what I thought. Maybe I will relocate to glovebox for a better feeling when I park my car in Oakland, theives don't care it has ESN.

Yea my wife recently had here Honda broken into an the ESN did not stop them it is kinda nice knowing that they can't use the deck but when they ripped it out they also took the heating and A/C controls then seen the RCA cable's an located the amp eclipse cd 8445 detachable face? -- posted image.
