Hi there,
In need of some help to fit my sub. The main problem is that I'm not sure which wire to patch the remote turn on lead into. We tried the broen, 2 different reds, and a blue but none of them worked.
Does anyone know which colour wire I should be using on this?
So far, I've managed to get the LED flashing on the sub so there is power there, but no sound coming from it. I'm also told that the LED should just stay on as opposed to flashing.
This is the equipment I have:
JBL Basstube BTX250
JVC head unit with 12 disc cd changer.
The car is a 1998 R reg Astra Convertible.
Any help would be much obliged.
Many thanks,
Andy

If it's like the GM's here in the states, you should be able to use the thick brown wire at the ignition harness.  However, you need to verify your wires with a multimeter before hooking anything up.  Test for a wire that shows power only when the key is turned.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
