crosovers?

I have 2 sets of infinity 6.5 .....they had kapa tweeters.

the tweeters and crosovers are blown,how can i get new tweters to work with them?

do i need a crosover?

i would like to spend as little as i can.

Please help!

Well when you buy a set of tweeters they come with cross overs for the tweeters only though.(Basaclly it only filters the signal from the tweeters) You can attempt to buy the same tweeters and cross over but this may prove to be difficullt(probally be more worth it just to buy the set over) or you can use an amp with a cross over to drive the tweeters.

The tweeters AND crossovers are blown? You don't have much left out of those components, do you? Time to buy new components...and you'll want to stick around the forum and read as much as you can. There's a reason your equipment was destroyed, and you'll want to make sure you don't make the same mistake this time.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

stevdart,I did not blow the components,I bought just the mids from the guy that blew them.

thats why i was asking about tweeter and crosover replacement.
