MTX makes some great preloaded and amplied enclosures. For some reason the site is not loading for me though to link to a model for you. www.mtxaudio.com in the Thunderform section.

When I built my system in my '04 quad cab I bought a pre-fabbed box from ebay... very good quality and for $100 I'd rather buy it than build it.  The subs I have are the audiobahn AWP310T and they hit very hard for the small space they have back there.  It is the best setup for that truck in my opinion (other than the fact that Audiobahn isn't my first choice on brands).  The subs just fit right and could take enough power for my needs.  An optimum setup would be a console with a 10" in it.

You might look into these speakers

I find that people give audiobahn a lot of doodie, but they don't really sound that bad.   quality control is the problem with them.
fiberglass reminds me of peanut brittle... but fiberglass tastes better!

if your really concerned with space, check out the blaupunkt's thin subs, you could easily fit a couple subs uner your back seat of that truck
